Maceo Perez is an award-winning Mexican-American filmmaker from the San Francisco Bay Area, raised by a long line of artists, musicians, and go-getters. 

As a Writer-Director, Maceo’s priority is always character. In a world of mindless content consumption, he aspires to rise above the noise by creating fresh, deeply personal stories with an emotional core that sticks with audiences long after they leave the theater. 

Maceo is currently a student at the University of California’s School of Cinematic Arts, pursuing a degree in Film and Television Production. Outside of class, he works as the Creative Director at NeoStrategies, producing all their advertisements from Conception to Distribution. If a problem needs an extra hand, he always knows a guy who can get it done.
